Caroline Legere is a soprano who began singing at age 6 in her church choir. She grew up in the Grace Episcopal Church Boys and Girls Choir in Alexandria, VA, where she served as Head Chorister. She sang with her high school choirs through four years of “Superior” ratings and with the Washington Chorus at the Kennedy Center and the Music Center at Strathmore, and also fronted the pop cover band “Thorn & Roses” at venues around her hometown.

She has trained at the Royal School of Church Music program in Rhode Island, the NYU Steinhardt Classical Voice Intensive, St. Thomas 5th Avenue Choir School, and the Virginia Governor’s School for classical voice, and she was a second-round qualifier at the Classical Singers Convention & Competition in DC.

Caroline is now pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a vocal concentration at JMU. She sings with the JMU a cappella group Note-oriety and in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church choir. Released in 2025, her recordings of my future and Halley's Comet by Billie Eilish are available on Spotify and Apple Music.

Whether she’s singing a Schumann song, a hymn, or a pop favorite, Caroline aims to bring personality, discipline, and excitement to every performance. She is also passionate about teaching and has led student sectional rehearsals, conducted at a youth choral camp, and interned in elementary music education.

Caroline Legere began singing at the age of 6 and has developed her art through performance experiences in classical voice performance training, choral settings, sacred choral music and hymn solos, lead singer in her pop cover band "Thorn & Roses," and soprano in acapella group "Note-oriety." Her repertoire includes classical pieces in Latin, French, Italian, German, and English, as well as soul, jazz, and pop from 1950 to today's hits. She plays ukulele and piano, and is learning acoustic guitar.
